Our Mission

The National Economic Forum (NEF) is an independent, not-for-profit platform for public-private-civil society collaboration. NEF brings together leading voices from government, business, start-ups, academia, and civil society to shape national, regional, and sectoral agendas that advance inclusive and sustainable growth in India and contribute to global progress.

NEF offers a trusted, impartial space to build consensus, forge partnerships, and bridge the gap between ideas and action. Anchored in India’s democratic vitality, entrepreneurial energy, demographic dividend, and civilisational ethos of dialogue, NEF works to support India’s journey towards developed-nation status by 2047 and to strengthen its role as a responsible stakeholder in the global economic order.
